How are we all doing?

Hi Team,
I am wondering how everyone is doing with their new equiptment and how I can help with any difficulties you are experiencing. I know this site's address was not working for awhile and some of you may have not been able to post. I have it fixed--I think. The new laptops are pretty awesome. I am still experimenting with features that are different than last years laptops. The wireless will be coming to us all soon. Smile and keep up the good work.

Wow!! What a great, exciting beginning of the year. With all of our new technology our hallway is buzzing every day. Yes, we are all feeling overwhelmed right now, but we keep finding new sites, new ways to use our technology and new ways to teach our curriculum every day. This is going to be such a great learning year!!

Hello all,
We are off to a great start! I love how people are not afraid to ask for help. That is a great first step. Know that the Grant Team is here for you so don't give up! We will do what we can to help you.
At this time the fourth grade team has begun using the equipment.
YEAH!!!

The new laptops are awesome! I especially love the wireless. I find myself carrying it to meetings, pulling up facts while teaching, etc. Love it!

I'll really be doing well if this response posts to the blog.

I got my equipment all set up and used the data projector for science classes this morning. The students were loving the lesson as there were race cars on the website for motion.

I am somewhat a novice at this when it comes to anything other than the basics. I feel very privileged to have this opportunity to learn so much. Hopefully, by the end of the this year I will be much more confident and using technology frequently to make class exciting for the students too.

Thank you.

Jodi got the data projector all set up and it's working great. She found web sites that dealt with sound and showed it to the class as she was teaching it. That helped demonstrate the concepts that were being taught.

Okay, I don't know why this blog is going to date as November 20th, when this is supposed to be September's blog. However, it's me, and I'm sure you can figure it out. The technology equipment is overwhelming, but Dallas helps me out at home, when I have a question. It's a fair trade - I help him with spelling words and he helps me with the computer. Anyways, there's so much to learn, and I'm ready. It just might be in baby steps.
