What if...

I know we are all at different stages with our technology use and incorporation, but I'd like you to stop a moment and think about this scenario: What if HP recalled our equiptment today for repairs and we wouldn't get any of it back for several months? How would this affect you as an educator at this point? How would affect your classroom?

I personally would be lost! I cannot imagine trying to teach science without my projector and Notebook. These days, my Notebook sits right next to me and is like a bookshlef of resources at my fingertips.

I am using my equipment daily as well ...love using excel for grades! A real time saver, and Learn 360 is so convenience with my data projector.

I've been using my projector a lot for social studies and science. We don't have any text books for those areas so it's difficult to find resources. I'm very thankful that I have the equipment at my finger tips.

I have completed the Excel class and feel pretty good about it.
Our team meets once a week to work on the Fresh Perspectives which we are concluding this week.
I use my laptop and data projector for science and language arts class a lot! Great for on site data collecting, spelling, charts.

It would be a horror! I'm afraid to say, I have become rather dependent on it. I use the computer for GLCE support with the data projector daily. Students have been sharing their writing this way as well. We use the ink annotation feature to work on editing. They are always ready for a photo opt, too!

I've been using my equipment regularly. It's been so easy to access information for any and all curricular areas. I would feel like I'd lost a vital line to the "outside" world.

If HP was to take away all my technology I woould be lost. I use some part of it daily. My students are using it also and we work as a team to find new things. I am using Learn 360 a lot for teaching my soocial studies and I am constantly sharing some little clip related to something.
I use the clickers often to test for skill knowledge and the students love playing the jeopardy
game on CPS. Our team is working well together and sharing what we find with each other.

I use my equipment daily and would be at a great loss without it. My projector and learn 360 have been an asset to the science instruction as well as walking kids through step by step to locate math games and science interactive sites.

I use the technology for science and s.s. ideas. So I know I would miss it in these areas. Also, I love having the camera and printer at my fingertips.
