Nearing the end...
It seems the time is flying. The grant is winding down and there is only a few months left. It's been a long road, but as we begin to reflect on what we have learned and how our instruction has changed/improved, we should be very proud. We have only just begun to tap into the possiblities of teaching through technology.

When I think back to the beginning of the year and the overwhelming task of conquering my fear of technology, I'm amazed at how quickly it becomes second nature. Many thanks to all of the hard working staff members that have made this transformation possible. We have THE most incredible staff!
There has been an extra bloom of cooperation and sharing among my team members. Our fifth grade team has really been using the tech as a resource to enhance our teaching and teaming. The professional development piece has really helped me improve in my using some software programs that has improved my overall management. This grant from Hp has been a blessing.
This year hs been an awesome adventure. Yes, sometimes our stress level was high, but we plugged on and have come so far. Who would have thought our team could be writing and using common assessments on Examview and CPS?
We are using and sharing technology daily and our students are showing growth because of it.
The class we all took helped us to learn about and explore lots of technology that we didn't know even existed.
The sharing that our staff is doing at our meetings has also taught me about so many new sites and ways to help manage and teach my students. A big thanks to everyone for all the time and help and sharing!!!
Our fifth grade team met regularly throughout the year. We shared ideas, best practices, 'how to' with each other. Even more impressive was the building staff interaction. The HP grant techie fun has brought us all closer together through bumps, rolls, and smooth riding.
Next academic year we will take advantage of all we've learned and apply it in new and exciting ways.
I am thankful that we have the opportunity to use technology. I use it everyday and I can't imagine not having it. At the beginning of the year I felt overwhelmed and nervous about all the new technology. I feel very proud of how far I've come. I'm a better teacher now that I can integrate technology into my classroom.
At the beginning of the year I was overwhelmed with all of the technology pieces we had received. Once that was set up I became eager to utilize the new equipment. The resources I have found to teach science has been amazing. I continue to search for new websites that are kid friendly and attach them to the pacing guides for quick access. I can not imagine being without technology in todays teaching.
Hard to believe that we are nearing the end - WOW! Without the help from everyone, I would be lost. I appreciate everyone's help. I know that I have learned a lot this year.
